Welcome Baby Phillips

Yes, Kari delivered the baby, a boy, on Friday night at 11 pm.  He was 20 inches long and 9 lbs 14 oz in weight.  His name is Adam Jonathan Phillips.  He and mom are now home and doing well.  Thanks for all your prayers and support.

So, I was poking around the other day and discovered one of the most amazing things!  Full MacGuyver episodes available online throught CBS.  I was completely taken by surprise with this.  They also have full episodes there from some other long gone shows, but I didn't really care about those as much as Mac!  How fabulous is this?  Why should we care? Because Angus was absolutely amazing!

Okay, I wasn't really that excited, but knowing that they're available to watch free online (and downloadable for a price)  was really neat news for me.  In other news, Abel was staying with us.  But now he's moved on to another place.  It was quite an adventure.  Abel was greatly amused at our general goings on.  But he didn't care because he got really good food.  Why did he have such good food, you ask.  Because my wife is the most amazing cook I have every known.

I realize that most people have forgotten Oliver North, but if you enjoy Tom Clancy, you should try Ollie's books.  The first in this series is called Mission Compromised.  It was really good.  I've been reading the second one.  And I can't wait for the third.  Kari found them for me for Christmas and I'm just getting to read them.  I was a little leary at first, but they're fabulous.  So that's my plug for a new great author.  And I have a really hard time finding good Christian authors that don't write stupid fluffy stories that end leaving everybody all sappy.

Hello all,

I know that it's been a while since my last post.  Since then, Kari and I have bought a new house.  Not much to say about it, but we're almost totally settled in and hope to be able to host soon.  We do have to send a huge thank you to all of our friends who helped us move.  It was great to be able to move so quickly and smoothly.

So, I've got a new email address.  If you would like it, then leave me a note and I'll try to get it to you.  The email address that I share with Kari is still the same, this is just my own email so that I can do things like plan surprise parties for Kari:)  Thanks.
